Over the course of an hour Aaron shares with us the resonance he has with Harry Potter, why it is such an important thing to him and also how it brought him and his girlfriend together, but almost broke them apart too. 

For people of a certain generation who are finding themselves somehow in their mid 30s now we can all related to the love of the spectacled wizard, maybe we are ourselves in the story, or maybe, like for Aaron it got us through some tough times. 

Aaron is a brilliant storyteller, he has the ability to draw the audience into his world and make you feel like you’re just friends catching up while he shares his ridiculous stories with you. He is wonderfully open and candidly honest with the crowd, sharing some vulnerability which warms you to him whether that be the first time meeting his girlfriend’s dad…which was awkward to say the least or the frankly awful advice his own dad gave him before his first date. 

You never quite know where the show is going, nothing about it is predictable which although can feel chaotic at times, does makes it a joy to watch. There are twists and turns a plenty and for all the comedy there are also some lovely heart-warming moments too. 

There are clever moments of call back to earlier in the show, brilliant crowd interactions throughout. Every story elicits a bigger laugh from the audience than the one before and by the end of the hour they are in the palm of his hand.
